I can’t believe tomorrow will be a month since my whiplash injury occurred. Days 2-10 after it happened were unpleasantly life-altering: consistent headache, limited mobility in my neck, and shooting pains.
Then, on day 5, I woke up to intense lower back pain that went down to my heel. I could only work for a short period before being completely exhausted with increasing pain and worrying about my lack of recovery.

On day 11, I went to ZK Outpatient Rehabilitation Center. When Dr. Javier told me dry needling would instantly make me feel better, I did not believe him. And I completely psyched myself about the simple procedure. He was right, and I am forever thankful and amazed by the process.
I had no idea what physical therapy was before, but I can’t believe he can tell what’s wrong and how to fix it by simply talking with someone. It’s like a translator for your body’s pain signals. I’ve gone for my neck and back now. I’ve already gone back to playing football, and I can’t thank ZK Outpatient Rehabilitation Center enough for that!
